Since operations began on January 15, 2023, Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET) has been the operator of the LNG terminals in Wilhelmshaven.

The on-site operations and maintenance are handled by LTeW GmbH, a subsidiary of Uniper. KN Energies is responsible for commercial management, which includes coordinating the LNG tankers. The regasification on board the "Höegh Esperanza" is carried out by the shipping company Höegh LNG. Niedersachsen Ports GmbH & Co. KG is the port operator.

The ship "Höegh Esperanza" is owned by Höegh LNG Holdings, based in Oslo, Norway.
